Dec 02, 2001 - "What about XHTML?" is a presentation about the new features of XHTML. It completes the document "What is XHTML good for?".
Nov 17, 2001 - The sitemap now includes the date of the last modification. This was possible with only a few changes using gelapas and altoc. The script I use for this is now available at the sitemapper site.
Nov 10, 2001 - I created a small Linux distribution roundup in the hope to show what the differences are and - more important - how they affect you as a user.
Oct 12, 2001 - A new article in the
Web section
about the
new features of XHTML.
Oct 12, 2001 - There are two new
Perl programs on this site.
- altoc is a script that takes some CVS input and formats it according to a template.
- gelapas crawls the file tree for files (HTML by default) and prints some information about each file.
Sep 29, 2001 - I recently bought a
Dell Latitude Laptop and installed Debian Linux on it. I've
written an
article about my experiences.
Sep 09, 2001 - Two things happened
this night. First, the billionst seconds has silently passed
away. But you either know this already or aren't interested in
this, anyway.
Second, I've uploaded a new "software". It's a
collection of some awk and shell scripts to view an address
database. The data are entered manually with a text editor in
a semi-structured format and can then be extracted with these
scripts. Have a look at the aac page for
more information.
Aug 11, 2001 - The Web site is now XHTML compliant.
Aug 04, 2001 - What a busy day. You can download a new Python script. Sitemapper automatically generates the Sitemap for my Web site.
Aug 04, 2001 - The web section grew even more. In the new article I wrote about Netscape 6 and tried to explain some strange facts.
Jul 28, 2001 - I added another article to the Web section. It's about quality checks of Web sites.
Jul 17, 2001 - The first draft of my article about Web standards is online. The purpose of the document is to inform my visitors about the available Web standards and to tell about some experiences I've had. It's called Why care about standards?.
Jul 14, 2001 - It took a long time to find the time to replace the old website. Yes, you guessed it. This is the replacement. Not so popular sections have been removed. In the future, I'll write about my software, Linux and the Web.
I'm planning to spend more time updating the English part of the website, because there isn't much English content at the moment. If you find any spelling or grammatical errors, please mail me. This would be a good preparation for my the 'First exam'.
