Intro
This is the section where I write articles about the Web. One of the topics I'm most interested in is accessibility. I hope I can write some interesting comments about this topic.
Past articles
- Web Application Security
- Jul 18, 2002 - Something completely different than the other articles. This time it's about how you as a Web developer can take care of the security of your Web site. Mainly intended for ASP developers, but also usable if you use another programming language.
- What about XHTML?
- Dec 02, 2001 - A presentation about XHTML. I will show this one at work. It contains much of the content written in "What is XHTML good for?". This is also a test for the usage of multiple CSS sheets. Per default the presentation is shown with no navigation but Next, Home and Prev buttons. In compatible browsers you can switch to the default view of my Web site, though. At the moment I don't know any browser but Mozilla (and derivatives) which is able to do this.
- What is XHTML good for?
- Oct 12, 2001 - The W3C wants to replace the current HTML specification with XHTML. I often get asked what this is good for, so I try to answer this question.
- Why does Netscape 6 suck?
- Aug 4, 2001 - If you still don't understand why Netscape 6 is such a disappointing browser, this article is for you.
- Quality check for your Web site
- Jul 28, 2001 - Your customers are more likely to stay on your site if your presence isn't full of bugs. They can be avoided.
- Why care about standards?
- Jul 16, 2001 - The purpose of this document is to inform you about today's Web standards and why you should care about them. I've written down several experiences I've made with my own websites.
